2007 Subaru Forester *Salvage

2007 Subaru Forester X 2.5L

I have a crashed salvage title 2007 Subaru Forester X. This is a naturally aspirated, 2.5 liter EJ25 , one of Subaru’s late 2nd generation motors. It has 122,000 original miles on the motor and chassis. In July of 2020, I was struck in a collision while driving to work and this is the result. In case it was not clear, I am selling the car as is.
It still starts and drives with no issues (keep in mind I have not driven it since the accident, only very short distances on and off the tow truck and into the body shop) and it does not make any out of the ordinary sounds. The steering rack seems untouched from the collision and it still turns very well. Tires are 9/10 as well.
Even though it drives, I would recommend having it towed to your location. If needed, I can supply a tow Within 20 miles for $100.
You will see in the attached photos it is still in very good shape, but does require a very good technician to bring her back to her former glory.
Not even 2 weeks before the incident however, I put almost $2,200 into her thanks to a very reputable shop in town (I have all of the paperwork and invoices). This motor is like Brand new! Here is a list of the items I replaced so you won’t have to for a long time to come.

New Timing belt
New Water Pump
New Head Gasket
2 out of 4 New Idler Pulleys
New Rear Wheel Bearing
New Rear Brake Drums

Up until the accident, For those two bittersweet weeks, this car felt like brand new; the power loss was regained, the slight noise on the freeway (new wheel bearing) was completely gone, the brakes were so much more powerful (new drums on rear), it was just perfect.
I have kept my car very well maintained both inside and out, the paint is in excellent condition as well as the interior seats /dash / rear cabin area.
The car is located at a Reputable Auto Body shop near Kearny/Mira Mesa and I am happy to show it anytime that is convenient. Asking $3,000 Obo
